First arrivals of wild garlic at the end of the month. We may see the first peas and broad beans - but we advise not including in any menu planning until later in spring.
Yorkshire forced rhubarb is the star this month. Apples and pears are still available and are coming out of store rather than picked fresh. Out in the fields, brassicas thrive in this colder weather.
Blood oranges have a good blush this month. Specify the Moro variety for deep colour.
